They sealed off the whole system, buried the records. I thought the old reports were just hysteria until I saw. Issac in a fourth game would wake up on Tao volantis, haveing thought hed escaped.Īgain cheers for actually replying and haveing a conversation.History The First Aegis VII Incident " You've seen the result. But like I've just said, I feel that awakened never happened in reality. Which is why he has the episodes he does.Īnd I agree with the indirect hallucinations, which is why I liked the ones in the main game in 3, short sharp and really unsettling. But I dont think many organisms at all reach the stage of infection and affliction he has. I feel this heightened his experience, I feel awakened was issacs unconscious mind going through another interrogation. Issac has already had an encounter and when he defeated an moon in three he had a hell of a head wound. The thing that I feel separates issac (and maybe stross as well) was their exposure time to the marker signal. And there is a certain degree of interaction, but I feel this ends at the "make us whole" mantra. The closest we get to this entity is at the end of two in my opinion. There is definitely a conscious influence buried in the marker signal. The moons were a threat (as in the game was threatening you with what would happen), not a personality. The involvement in the previous games was perfectly fine. The horror and dementia was just right (making up for the utter lack in the main game). The main enemy (the prophet? Was that it?) Reminds me of the Cenobites from Hellraiser and he was epic. Telepathic talking moons ruined the DS 3 dlc for me. They played it smart and had the message of the markers delivered in hallucinations and from other living people suffering from the dementia effects of the marker. They could have had the markers talk directly, but they never did. I would have excused the cheap graphics and understood the pressure put on Visceral by ea but the talking. The two problems I have with the moons are how cheap they were (they looked like an animated gif from a GeoCities website from the 90s) and they talked.
