I wonder if this thing basically merged its entire species together in an attempt to put itself in a body that lasts millions, if not Billions of years, through eating biomass to sustain itself. So my guess is that something was so fearful of death that it took its life into its own hands to circumvent this. The idea of Nothing is basically impossible to understand because being aware of Nothing makes it something. Even understanding that you're dead isn't possible, as it gives a definition to Nothingness. We aren't capable of thinking what Un-Being is. Many beings don't want to accept that once we are dead, there's nothing that continues. ![]() So if we analyze why WE have religion or speculate on an afterlife, is that the fear of what happens after death. ![]()
